I design and deliver innovative workshop formats that help diverse audiences develop self-awareness, resilience and empathy in cross-cultural and cross-linguistic settings.
In 2017, I am piloting two ground-breaking programs:
- Design for Diversity, a 7-week, 1h/week program for senior high school students, using design thinking to better integrate students from diverse backgrounds, including international students, to fabric of the school community.
- Out of the Box, a 3 week, 4x1h30 program that equips international university students with the tools and mindsets to enjoy their time in Australia as a period of experimentation – and gently helps them stretch their comfort zone.
Other programs for new citizens and entrepreneurs working across cultures are currently in early stages of design.
Most of my workshops are and have been delivered under the umbrella of Marco Polo Project, an organisation I founded in 2011. For more details, please visit workshop.marcopoloproject.org.
